W912J6-19-Q-0037 TACTICAL TRACKER QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

1. Are training lanes already set up and available on post for contractor to use for this course, or is it expected that contractor find and setup training lanes?

Answer: Contractor needs to identify and set lanes prior to course start.

2. Performance Work Statement (PWS) paragraph 1.2 describes "learn to find and track spoor without the use of electronics, or animal assistance, but to also work in conjunction with either or both". Question? Is it expected that detection dogs be included in this Level 1 course?

3. What size tracker team is used by HI CERFP...Fire Team, Squad or Platoon Level?

Because of the Civil Support mission, the course should be tailored more towards a civilian nature vice Military tactical operation. The Search & Extraction element has 50 total Soldiers.

Answer: No aerial ISR assets are needed aside from whatever maps/overlays that will be part of the training.
