W912J2-22-R-0001 Wisconsin National Guard MATOC for Construction Questions and Answers #1 (Q&A #1) 2 May 2022

1. One of my subs had a question about the drain that will be installed in the addition of the building. He wanted to know if the new drain will tie into the storm sewer or the sanitary system? And will we need to tie it into the existing adjacent building plumbing?

Refer to KEYED NOTES (NEW CONSTRUCTION) on Sheet S-111 N4 refers to a New Containment Trench.

There is no connection to storm or sanitary sewer systems.

2. Drawing AD010 indicates to remove two existing overhead doors and salvage for reuse. A601 door schedule does not designate reusing the existing doors. Please confirm if 101A thru 101E are all new overhead doors (5 total) or if two of them are the salvaged doors. If two are the salvaged doors, please indicate which ones.

Refer to DOOR SCHEDULE on Sheet A-601.

Doors 101A, 101C, and 101E are new overhead doors (3 total).

Doors 101B and 101C are salvage and reinstall.

DOOR SCHEDULE REMARK 1 indicates location of salvaged doors.

3. Please confirm if the heat detectors shown in the existing cold storage (FA101) are existing or new.

All existing smoke detectors are being replaced with all new heat detectors.

4. Please provide plans showing existing smoke detectors that are being removed (Note4/FA101) See Suplemental Information Document:
