About this file
This document is a Description of Requirement (DOR) for a federal contract opportunity to provide Quarterly Equipment Calibration services to the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory (GSL) in Vicksburg, MS.
The DOR specifies the required equipment and quantities that need to be calibrated on a quarterly basis, including balances, mechanical shakers, digital thermometers, compression machines, mixers, and various other lab equipment. The services must be provided onsite and use NIST traceable calibration standards, with ISO 17025 and AASHTO R18 compliant calibration documents provided within 7 days. The performance period is coordinated with the government point of contact, with calibrations to commence within 30 days of award and be completed within 3 days of initial commencement.
The related federal contract opportunity is a combined synopsis/solicitation to award multiple Master Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for these Calibration Services, under NAICS code 811210. The solicitation is a 100% Small Business set-aside, with awards to be made to the three lowest priced, technically acceptable offerors. The total estimated contract value is $285,000 over 5 years, with individual BPA Calls not to exceed $250,000.
