About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document clarifying the scope of work for a Men's Locker Room renovation project.
The scope includes renovation of the Men's Locker Room only (not the Women's), encompassing all new fixtures: 6 showers, 2 urinals, 2 toilets, and 3 sinks, along with new vanities and toilet partitions. Benches are to be wall-mounted stainless steel with blocking, one per shower space. The vanity, toilet, and partition areas are included with new fixtures throughout. The transition between existing and new tile occurs parallel to the endpoint of the shower room and vanity area. No drawings or floor plans are available for the locker area. Tile specifications are to be provided by the contractor as samples for approval. All plumbing and fixtures are new installations. No ceiling modifications are required. All HVAC-related requirements, including system modifications and compressor upgrades for the existing chiller, have been removed from the project scope.
Work is authorized Monday through Friday from 0600 to 1500 hours; any work outside these hours requires advance approval. Shelving relocation is confirmed at 40 units (20 shelves at 2 per location). For pricing purposes, contractors must create a pricing breakdown that includes materials, labor, and overhead while adhering to the CLIN structure specified in the Contract Statement.
