STATEMENT OF WORK
STATEMENT OF WORK
Replace Conductor Rail Feed to Intake Crane
Brand Name or Equal
1. GENERAL: This document describes specifications for the supply, removal and installation of the conductor rail feed to the intake crane for the St. Stephen Hydro Power Plant.
2. COMMENCEMENT, PROSECUTION AND COMPLETION OF WORK (FAR 52.211-10):
Equipment shall be provided within 90 calendar days of contract award.
3. SUBMITTALS: Complete product specification sheets/information must be submitted for all proposed equipment.
4. GENERAL SCOPE: The CRRP St. Stephen Hydro Power Plant operates three (3) hydroelectric generators; the intake crane is powered by a conductor rail that has reached end of life and resulted in unreliable crane operation. The intake crane is used to install and remove the intake gates for dewatering the hydro units. In the event of an emergency the intake gates would be installed to prevent flow thru the units. The conductor feed rail requested is a direct replacement and required to maintain safe and reliable power plant operations.
5. MATERIALS: This request for proposal is for the supply of the following materials and services. The proposal will include all costs for shipping, removal and installation at the location noted in Section 7.
Detailed specifications are found in Section 8.
6. ACCEPTANCE: The Elite Bar system, or approved equal supplied under this PSW will be warranted against defect for at least one year after supply. If deficiencies are found with equipment inside the warranty period, the supplier must provide replacement parts without further cost to the Government.
7. INVOICING/DELIVERY: Equipment should be Invoiced and Delivered to the attention of:
