AMENDMENT 03 CHANGES
Description of Changes – 22 November 2016
Amendment 3 to Solicitation W912HP-16-R-0034 for Municipal Services for the 81st
Regional Support Command - Louisiana.
This amendment was prompted by a Projnet Question (Inquiry ID 6734273) that reads as follows:
Question: Document Labeled Section C 1503020 Pest Control states on page 3, section
2.2 Contractors Work Plan for Pest Control that the contractor shall submit as part of their proposal a CWP for Pest Control. However, in the conformed Solicitation Packet, on page 40, Submittal Instructions, nothing is stated regarding the offeror providing such a plan in any of the sections. Could you please specify which volume and section you would want this plan to be included in for our proposal, and if any, page length requirements or any other requirements?
Answer: Follow the Solicitation Packet, on page 40 for the proposal. Section C 1503020 Pest Control Paragraph 2.2 will be changed to read that the CWP will be submitted per Section F as a submittal after award of the contract. An amendment with the change to Section C 1503020, paragraph 2.2 is forthcoming in FBO.
Thus this Amendment 3 changes Section C 1503020 as follows:
C 1503020 Pest Control
Revise Paragraph 2.1.3 to read as follows:
2.1.3 Contractor's Work Plan (CWP) for Pest Control A Contractor developed document submitted as part of the contractor proposal after contract award that describes how the requirements of this contract will be met. The plan establishes the strategies and methods for conducting a safe, effective, and environmentally sound pest management program.
Revise Paragraph 2.2 to read as follows:
2.2 Contractor’s Work Plan (CWP) for Pest Control The Contractor shall submit as part of their proposal and execute a CWP for pest control after award. The CWP shall adhere to applicable publications and directives contained in J-1503020-01 (Applicable
W912HP-16-R-0034
Publications and Directives). The CWP will require approval by the Contracting Officer (KO). The CWP shall establish the strategy and methods for conducting a safe, effective, and environmentally sound pest management program in compliance with these specifications. Prospective The Contractors may survey facilities and grounds in development of a plan. The CWP shall address pest response and removal procedures, record keeping, warranties, education and communication to installation personnel to prevent pests and disease vectors, etc. The IPM approach should use targeted (i.e., effective, environmentally sound) methods including habitat/facility modification, biological/genetic/cultural control, mechanical/physical control, and where necessary, the judicious use of least hazardous pesticides. The CWP shall include labels, MSDS sheets, and planned pesticide use sheets and comply with all applicable Local, State, and Federal regulations, and the Installation PMP.
