About this file

This document contains a request for information from potential contractors regarding maintenance dredging services for the Savannah Inner Harbor. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District is seeking a contractor to remove approximately four million cubic yards of material from the Savannah Harbor channel and turning basins at depths ranging from -47 to -55 feet MLLW. The work includes furnishing dredging equipment and placing dredged material in confined upland disposal areas along the Savannah River. Contractors must be able to dredge to the specified depths, pump material over 50,000 linear feet with an elevation change of +47 feet MLLW, and remove approximately 13,000 cubic yards of material per day. The response deadline for information is February 7, 2022. Environmental restrictions may limit dredging periods between April and May, and from July through September. This request is not a solicitation and does not obligate the government to award a contract.
