MEMORANDUM FOR: CESAS-CT (ATTN: Gregory Graham) SUBJECT: Site Visit for FA-90902-21 Revitalize Barracks Building M-4520 Solicitation No. W912HN22B4013, FA-90902-21 Revitalize Barracks Building M-4520, Fort Bragg, NC
Enclosed you will find the sign-in roster for the second site visit for FA-90902-21 Revitalize Barracks Building M-4520 that occurred on September 7, 2022, at 09:30.
Thirteen contractors and subcontractors attended the site visit. The visit officially started at 09:35 on site at Building M-4520. Before starting the walk through USACE stated that the Proposals are due by September 23, 2022, at 1:00 pm and that all pre-bid RFI’s must be entered in Projnet 10 calendar days before the proposal is due. At this time USACE also stressed that all questions are to be handled as an official Pre-bid RFI and that no answers would be provided in the field.
After the sign-in roster was completed USACE led the contractors around the site. Walking the site included 3 bedroom suites, common areas, both Company Operation Facilities at the ends of the building, walking the exterior, and looking in all the utility rooms (mechanical, FACP, electrical). The only access not granted during the site visit was the attic space. No concern was brought up over the lack of access.
The site visit concluded at approximately 10:34 and the contractors were instructed to ask any question as an official Pre-bid RFI in Projnet. The only concern brought up during the site visit was one of the contractors stated Projnet says comments are closed after tomorrow and they were concerned this would not be enough time to enter inquiries.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact the undersigned at 910.751.9513.
Sincerely, Jonathan B. McCormick, PE Fort Bragg Resident Engineer
