About this file

This solicitation is for maintenance dredging services for the Savannah Inner Harbor navigation project in Georgia. The scope of work includes furnishing personnel, equipment, transportation and materials to dredge up to four million cubic yards of sediment from the inner harbor channels and turning basins, which have authorized depths ranging from 30 to 42 feet below mean lower low water. Dredged material will be disposed of in several upland confined disposal areas adjacent to the Savannah River that are owned by various state and local entities. The contract is to be awarded on a fixed price basis as a result of full and open competition. The period of performance is one year from notice to proceed. Environmental windows and potential restrictions related to cadmium levels and protected species may impact the timing and locations of dredging operations. The pre-bid conference will be held on July 8, 2021 and questions are due by July 15, 2021. The agency is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District.
