About this file
This document package provides hydrologic and hydraulic information to support the Fargo Moorhead Metropolitan (FMM) Area Flood Risk Management Project, Southern Embankment Reach SE-2B solicitation. The solicitation is for flood risk management work on the Wild Rice River in North Dakota. The package includes daily and monthly flow hydrographs, stage hydrographs, and flow and stage duration curves from 1932 to 2021 to characterize historical hydrologic conditions at the project site. It presents hydrologic data collected from the Wild Rice River gage near Abercrombie, ND and applies rating curves to compute stage from discharge. The highest recorded flow and stage occurred in March 2009. The information is intended to inform responses to solicitation number W912ES23B0005 for reach SE-2B of the FMM project being conducted by the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District.

WILD RICE RIVER
DAILY FLOW HYDROGRAPHS
JANUARY 01 - DECEMBER 31
2012 - 2021
SHEET NUMBER: 1 of 6
FMM - SOUTHERN EMBANKMENT REACH 2B
HYDROLOGIC INFORMATION
Notes:
1. The daily flow hydrographs are based on data collected at the Wild Rice River near Abrecrombie, ND USGS gage (05053000). Discahrge at the gage is assumed to be representative of discharge at the project location. There are 90 years of record (1932-2021). The highest recorded mean daily flow at the gage occurred on March 25, 2009 (14,000 cfs).
2. These daily flow hydrographs are based on the best information available. These daily flow hydrographs represent the period shown, and do not necessarily represent all possible future conditions. Questions may be addressed to the office of the Corps of Engineers St. Paul, Minnesota.

Notes:
1. The daily stage hydrographs are based on data collected at the Wild Rice River near Abrecrombie, ND USGS gage (05053000). Discharge recorded at the gage is assumed to be representative of discharge at the project location, and the rating curve at the Wild Rice River Structure is applied to compute stage at the project location.
