SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE (SF 30)

The following have been modified:

AMENDMENT 0001

Interested Contractor Questions and Responses:

Question 1: Does the installation require any concrete anchor points?

Response 1: The playground system will not require any anchoring to the ground. See Revised Paragraph 2.3 of PWS provided herein.

Question 2: Is the impact area already established and anchor points in place to receive new equipment?

Response 2: The playground system will not require any anchoring to the ground. See Revised Paragraph 2.3 of PWS provided herein.

Question 3: Will this offer have to include the impact area along with anchor points for new equipment? If so, can I get specifications on the material the Corps would use inside the impact area along with the spec’d perimeter material?

Response 3: The playground system will not require any anchoring to the ground. See Revised Paragraphs 2.3 and

2.4 of PWS provided herein.

Question 4: There was a section in the SOW that stated, "All work materials and services not expressly called for in the specifications or shown on the drawings, but which are necessary for completion of the contract requirements, shall be performed and furnished by the Contractor at no increase in cost to the Government." What other materials and services are they referring to? Is it the fence that the want around the construction site?

Response 4: This statement is referring to tools, equipment and/or services that a Contractor may need to complete the work. The safety fence is a good example of such a material.

AMENDMENT 0002

Question 5: Can the perimeter of the playground be reconfirmed? Based on the 42.5' x 50' measurement provided, the perimeter would be approx 200 linear feet and 2,100 SF. However, when using a measurement tool Google Earth, it states 300 linear feet and 4,500 SF for the area outlined in red on the photo.

Response 5: See revised SOW with playground area dimensions provided in attachment 3.0.3.

Question 6: Can you please provide a photo or model number of the old playground that needs to be uninstalled?

Response 6: See revised SOW with existing playground pictures attached at 3.0.4.

Question 7: I spoke with Rainbow directly to learn about this model number, and they weren't familiar with the 98C designation on the description. Can you please verify the "98C" portion of the model number? This is what is currently listed on your solicitation Rainbow Play System’s Commercial model IDEA C (98C).

Response 7: See revised SOW paragraph 1.1.

Question 8: My question is about the existing playground equipment. Is it cemented into the ground?

Response 8: Interested firms should assume that the existing playground equipment has cement footings.
