SUMMARY OF CHANGES
SECTION SF 1449 - CONTINUATION SHEET
The following have been added by full text:
AMENDMENT 1
The purpose of this amendment is as follows:
Revise the site visit opportunities. Any interested vendors may visit the site of the work on their own time at their own risk. The campground section is seasonally closed to vehicles but may be accessed on foot. Any questions regarding the site of the work or otherwise shall be addressed in writing to Aragon Liebzeit at aragon.n.liebzeit@usace.army.mil
Provide answers to the following vendor questions:
Question (Q): Was fall cleanup completed in all of the areas for the fall 2020 season or is there a 100% cleanup needed in the spring 2021 due to the fall cleanup possibly not being done?
Answer (A): The fall cleanup and spring cleanup were done in 2020 on the blue and purple areas. The scope of work has changed, and the pink area was added for the current contract. All leaf removal CLIN’s are options that can be exercised at the Governments discretion.
Q: If possible, would be able to go to grounds tomorrow 2/10 if that is a possibility.
A: See above- Any interested vendors may visit the site of the work on their own time at their own risk.
Q: My only question is on the spring and fall cleanups. Is it their intent to do both spring and fall cleanup yearly weather permitting? If weather keeps a contractor from being able to perform a fall cleanup or they (the corps) opt out of a fall cleanup and the corps does not do anything in that area to clean will the spring cleanup be able to be adjusted to compensate for now having 100% of debris to clean up instead of a normal 40-50% of debris if fall had been done? Or a mod made to bring the fall cleanup over to help with the now 100% of debris cleanup?
A: The fall and spring cleanup are options because the needs of the government change from year to year based on a variety of operational factors. The previous contractor was typically able to complete the blue and purple areas in one day regardless of whether or not it was completed the previous season. The clean-up line items will not be modified based on whether the service was performed or not performed the previous seasons. A site visit is recommended in order for the contractor to gage the scope of work and best method to accomplish the work for each line item according to the scope of work. Please quote as specified.
Remove duplicate KO warrant verbiage/clause.
All other terms and condition remain unchanged.
The following have been modified:
CONTRACT CHANGES
Only a warranted Contracting Officer (either a Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) or an Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO)), acting within their appointed limits, has the authority to issue modifications or otherwise change the terms and conditions of this contract.
