Contractor Questions1: On the weatherproof pull boxes. Are those supposed to be quazite box to bury in the ground? I would assume they want them for under underground pull boxes. Or are they supposed to be PVC, stainless, or painted steel so they can be mounted on a wall or frame?
Government Answers1: The weatherproof pull boxes need to be painted steel to be mounted on an above ground frame.
Contractor Questions2: With the Square D panels, they need a panel schedule to build these panels. Do you happen to have the schedule or each panel?
Government Answers2: Contractor’s needs to provide the design for the box and will need to let the Government know how they have configured the boxes when they are delivered.
Contractor Questions3: Does the Government want six power distribution panel panels built the exact same?
Government Answers3: There is not a requirement to build all six boxes the same, however the contractor is required to provide the design configurations for each box.
Contractor Questions4: Is the delivery location at Sugar Bottom Maintenance Facility located at 2192 Mehaffey Bridge Road NE, Solon, IA 52333 is a 1-story building?
Government Answers4: No, the building at the delivery address is not a one story building. The building that the materials are to be delivered to is a large pole building, approximately 2 story with a large overhead door that contractor's can utilize.
