# QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Q1 The RFP states that the address of our listed office must fall within a 400-mile radius of the provided

1500 Rock Island Ave address. Is this a fixed, linear radius of 400 miles (a true circle), or based on a fastest route of travel mileage of 400 miles? If it is based on a true radius of 400 miles, we can submit a proposal for this solicitation. If it is based on the shortest possible highway or travel mileage, we cannot submit a proposal.

A1 It is based on travel mileage by vehicle.

Q2 Regarding subfactor 1 Professional experience: Do I give my company's past experiences, my subcontractor's, or both?

A2 Prime offeror and any subcontractor experience may be submitted.

Q3 Regarding subfactor 2 Proof of Boat Registration: Does the boat have to be registered to the name of the forestry company (my subcontractor) or only in the state?

A3 Must provide a boat registered in the state and not necessarily in the company's name.

Q4 Regarding subfactor 3 Geographic Limitation: Do my subcontractors count as a local office? They are in a 400-mile radius of 1500 Rock Island Drive, but my company's office is not.

A4 Per Evaluation Factors, Factor 1, Subfactor 3, it’s the offeror who must meet this criteria. This subfactor says nothing about subcontractors, who are not held responsible directly to the Government. For clarification the word "vendor" in the paragraph is changed to "offeror", and the word "offeror" is added to the subfactor for NO responses. Furthermore, the attestation for this subfactor says, "My company is located".
