Gabion Basket IDIQ Q&A
Amendment 0001
1. My question is the part about the Technical Advisory and what exactly you would want from them?
Technical advisors are required during a flood event to travel to each location at a moment’s notice. There could be multiple flood events in a month, where the technical advisor is traveling from one location to another to provide training on proper setup, utilization during an event and teardown/repackaging after the event.
2. Also 40 to 68,000 is a big jump in quantities do you want a price that is broken down a little more? I look forward to hearing back from you.
The minimum order for this IDIQ contract is 40 units. Additional delivery orders and quantities may be placed using this contract for the entire period of the contract.
The maximum order is 1,000 units. The maximum number of units for this contract is 68,000 units, Amendment 0002
1. With regard to the Emergency and Urgent delivery requirements please confirm that for the Emergency condition, the CO can order 20% of the 1000 unit maximum and for the Urgent they can order 100% of the 1000 unit maximum?
Confirmed. The government can order 20% of the 1000 unit maximum and for the Urgent they can order 100% of the 1000 unit maximum. Historically, maximum contracting actions have not occurred simultaneously.
2. Can you also confirm that the quantities in Emergency, Urgent & Normal cannot be ordered at the same time? (ie 200 + 1000 + 1000).
No, the Emergency, Urgent, and Normal may have an active delivery order at the same time.
Historically, maximum contracting actions have not occurred simultaneously.
3. Do you have any historic data for what percentage of orders are OCONUS?
Historically, <1%. With this contract the anticipated amount is < 3%.
4. Can you confirm that the geotextile needs to be Buy American and Berry Amendment compliant?
Yes, the geotextile must be compliant with the Buy American Act and the Berry Amendment.
5. We specialize in expedient temporary flood barriers and would like to compete for this opportunity. Below is our website for your review. The technical specs specify gabion
