QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Amendment One for W912EF23Q0021 480v Breaker Buckets

Question One: Eaton needs a 1-line diagram. Some of the items are not coming up. The designations in the part numbers.

Answer: You will see some Z Modifications at the end of several part numbers. These are special mods. As an example, for the SU3 Gov Pumps you see “Build as 42” High Starter Bucket with no Starter”. This causes an addition of Z1 to the end of the part number string. The Z modifications always appear as the last item(s) shown in the “List of Materials”.

Question Two: The OEM will NOT quote any add-on / replacement buckets equipment without the original MCC lineup master nameplate information, depicting manufacturing serial #. Basically, the OEM wants to verify that the requested MCC replacement equipment (buckets) will be going into their build and existing MCC line-up and to assure final fit. Please send the existing MCC line-up serial #.

Answer: Since the existing MCC was custom built by a manufacturer, Hatch Inc., which is out of business, we have no bucket label.

Question Three: CLINS 0001 and 0002 are returning no results. Could we get more information or a picture of what the customer replaced? I see various options and price variations. Would you be able to share a picture of what they are replacing?

Answer: For items 1 and 2, I sent a Detail Bill of Material reference number from Eaton, SE221103X2K1, which can be used.

Question Four: There is not enough info on items 3,4,5 & 6 for me or the aftermarket group to quote.

No cat numbers for the breakers or if they are to be in a bucket there’s no info for that either.

Answer: An updated specifications which include the Eaton part number for items 3, 4, 5, and 6 has been attached. The highlighted information is the update.
