During the period of performance of the mat casting contract at Richardson Landing a force main/pipeline Contractor is scheduled to perform directional drilling work during low water. The pipeline Contractor has been advised that casting operations will be ongoing concurrently during his work and he must coordinate and conduct his work so as to avoid impacts to the casting Contractor’s operations to the maximum extent possible. Both, the casting Contractor and the pipeline Contractor, must cooperate to allow the other work to occur concurrently with their operations. The pipeline Contractor will be located at the Northwest corner of the casting field and will occupy the area beginning from the western edge of Stack 13, Row L-3 and ending at the western border of the casting field. The Contractor will be constructing a pipeline outfall in the river adjacent to this area which will occupy areas of the river and will have directional drilling equipment located from top bank of the Mississippi River to the landward edge of Row L-3. The directional drilling Contractor will have traffic on the field that will travel on the Southern and Western border of the casting field. The Government shall not be held responsible for any delay caused by this Contractor. A meeting will be held with both contractors prior to the pipeline Contractor beginning work to ensure any concerns have been effectively coordinated.

(5) The recorded chart or tape shall become the property of the Government.
(6) The recorder shall be placed in a position convenient for observation by the concrete plant operator and the Contracting Officer, and mounted to prevent excessive vibration, which causes inaccurate readings.
(7) The recorded weights or volumes, when compared to the weights or volumes actually batched, shall be within (+/-) two percent.
8.7 Batch Counters
The plant shall include devices for automatically counting the total number of batches of all concrete batched.
