Bennett Johnston Waterway in Louisiana. The following do not alleviate the Contractor from fulfilling contract requirements: weather events, wildlife activity, vandalism, and public use. Contractor services will be performed in Caddo, Bossier, Red River, Grant, Rapides, and Avoyelles Parishes.
C.1.1. TRASH AND LITTER PICK-UP SERVICES. The Contractor shall accomplish all litter pick-up services to meet the requirements of this Statement of Work (SOW). The litter pick-up areas and frequencies are established in EXHIBIT 1: Estimated Workload Data, and EXHIBIT 3: Services Schedule.

For the entirety of this contract foreign matter is defined as anything that is not a part of the structure as designed. All foreign matter shall be removed from shorelines regardless of whether the litter is floating or beached, however retrieval of floating foreign matter which requires the Contractor to enter the water is not a requirement of this contract.
