Market Research Survey High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) Technology Insertion (TI)

The market research uncovered by this SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT will be used for information only for preliminary planning purposes on an upcoming solicitation. No proposals are being requested or accepted at this time, NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED AT THIS TIME, and no reimbursement will be made (for any costs associated with providing information) in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. Interested vendors may provide the following information to support the Government’s market research:

7. Summary of your firm’s commercially available, production-grade product line of balanced HPC systems. Include a list of products as well as supporting product specifications; note that for a system to be balanced, it must contain an appropriate combination of processor, memory, disk I/O, interconnect, and operating system (OS) capabilities in order to conduct complex, tightly-coupled, large-scale, scientific calculations.

8. List of systems installed by your company which contain 50,000 computational (non- GPU) cores or more [Please provide a detailed specification for each system.]

All responses shall be received by 12:00 Noon central time on 24 March 2018. Responses shall be no more than 15 pages (single spaced, front side only, no smaller than Times New Roman, font size 12 or equivalent). Extraneous materials (brochures, manuals, etc.) will not be considered.
