1. GENERAL

1.1. The Contractor shall provide all necessary materials, equipment, labor, supervision, and management to: (1) coordinate delivery; (2) load and unload; (3) secure and store, as designated; and (4) properly dispose of any associated packaging/crating materials.

This documentation will become the property of the customer. Upon final approval of the customer, the vendor shall reserve adequate quantities of fabrics from the manufacturer at the earliest possible date to avoid delays due to “out of stock” and/or “discontinued” fabrics.

2. DELIVERY

DELIVERY TYPES:

• Staged Delivery – This type of delivery is selected for occupied buildings where by the rooms must be emptied of old furnishings and reinstalled with the new furnishings by the end of each work day. The number of rooms that must be completed per day will be stated in the Table 1 of the Statement of Work (SOW). If there is a limited space for containers in the staging area, this will also be noted in the Table 1 of the Statement of Work. This information is important as it may dictate how the containers are loaded for delivery.

• Non-Staged Delivery – This type of delivery is selected typically for empty buildings where by the entire building is accessible during the install dates listed in the contract. This is important because it will dictate how the items are loaded into the containers for shipment.

2.1. The Contractor shall contact the TR at least 15 working days prior to shipping.

The Contractor shall coordinate item delivery from all sub-contractors to minimize the number of deliveries.

2.2. In the event that a delay in delivery is requested by the TR, the Contractor shall notify the Contracting Officer within 1 working day.

2.3. The Contractor shall provide the TR with a minimum of 48 hour notification as to the date and time that the trucks will be arriving. The Contractor shall also provide

2.4. Contractor must ensure that the driver of the delivery vehicle has copies of the Delivery Order (contract) for the items being delivered in order to gain entry to the facility.

2.5. Drivers of the delivery vehicles shall not attempt to deliver any items before the scheduled delivery date. In the event the delivery date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or federally recognized holiday, the delivery date shall be the next workday after the Saturday, Sunday, or holiday.

2.6. Shipping Label shall read as specified in Table 1 of this document.

2.7. Items shall be labeled with the building number(s) provided in Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0001, unless otherwise noted in this paragraph.

3. RECEIVE AND UNLOAD

3.1. Contractor shall deliver items between the hours specified in Table 1. The Contractor may work outside this time frame with prior approval of the TR.

3.2. All unloaded items shall be properly stored by the end of the workday.

3.3. The Contractor shall verify and inspect the wrapping/crating of all items. Any problems (damage/overage/shortage) shall be brought to the attention of the TR. The Contractor shall store damaged items in the location designated by the TR. The TR may require the Contractor to open a damaged container to ensure the actual item is unharmed.

3.4. The Contractor shall maintain a complete file of all documents relating to each discrepancy. Copies of discrepancy reports shall be forwarded to the TR on a daily basis.

3.5. The Contractor shall repair or coordinate for replacement of damaged, defective, or missing items.

4. PLACE AND INSTALL
