About this file

This document contains questions and responses regarding solicitation number W912DW24R0YCV from the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Seattle. The solicitation requests quotes for historic human remains detection dog survey services at the Chief Joseph Dam and Rufus Woods Lake Project. Similar services have previously been provided under contract but were completed last fiscal year, making this a new standalone requirement. The survey aims to use trained canines to identify areas with potential burials at archaeological sites to inform future design treatments and mitigate adverse effects on historic properties from dam operations and maintenance. According to the responses provided, the survey period includes both normal business days from Monday through Friday as well as potential weekend days.
