Number Questions Contracting Response 1 Is the opportunity only open for small businesses ($8M)? This solicitation has no restrictions or set-asides. All business sizes may compete.
2 Would an archaeological permit from the Seattle District be necessary to perform the survey?
No permits are necessary
3 I understand the search sites total approximately 7 acres over 5 separate locations.
All sites are located on the north side of the river. Checking the map, it appears that the roads on the north side of the river are relatively limited; and that to get from Grand Coulee we can only travel on the south side of the river. Is that true?
See Amendment 001 to the Solictation and Performance Work Statement Para 2.
4 If so, are the sites only accessible from the Chief Joseph Dam area? See Amendment 001 to the Solictation and Performance Work Statement Para 2.
5 Do you know how much driving time it will be to access the sites from that Dam? See Amendment 001 to the Solictation and Performance Work Statement Para 2.
6 Are you aware of any local accommodations in the area that accept dogs? Transportation and Lodging is at the discretion of the contractor.
7 We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services.
This is a new requirement.
8 If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number? This is a new requirement.
9 In looking at the map, it looks like flying into Spokane is going to get us the closest to the site. Am I correct?
Transportation and Lodging is at the discretion of the contractor.
10 Where will we be able to find lodging? Jeremy had mentioned Bridgeport. Is that were we should stay?
Transportation and Lodging is at the discretion of the contractor.
11 What is the approximate distance from the lodging to the survey sites? Transportation and Lodging is at the discretion of the contractor.
12 Will we be needing a 4-Wheel drive vehicle? See Amendment 001 to the Solictation and Performance Work Statement Para 2.
13 It is my experience that applications are submitted through grants.gov, but the RFQ states that you want it emailed directly to you. Is this correct?
Yes. See Combined Synopsis/ Solicitation, Para xv.
14 How can the applicant fill out the PDF? If necessary offerors can create their own identical pricing table shown at ADDENDUM TO 52.212-1(b), IV. Price. All other documents are already created by the offeror.
