Questions from A-Es

New Q&A
Question 5. Under the resumes listed, the Project Manager states a “licensed or registered professional required”. Does a PE license meet the registered professional requirement?
Answer 5. Yes. A Professional Engineer (P.E) license holder in good standing from any state of the United States qualifies as a licensed or registered professional for the Project Manager role in Criterion B.
Question 6. The Secondary Criterion F Volume of DoD A-E Contract Awards section states that proposals must include DoD A-E contracts awarded within the past 12 months.
a. Do we need to provide this information for the prime only, or for the subconsultants on the team as well? If the subconsultants as well, is this list included in the page count of Section H or can it be included in an Appendix that does not count toward the Section H page count?
b. Do we need to provide only the DoD contracts that were awarded as a Prime, or do we also need to include DoD A-E task orders that were awarded to us as a subcontractor?
Answer 6. When considering the Volume of DoD A-E Contract Awards as a secondary criterion, the Government requires disclosure of the awards for the Prime A-E. Only contracts and task orders awarded to the Prime as a Prime A-E firm will be considered. Reference EP 715-1-7 “Architect-Engineer Contracting in USACE”, section 3-7(c)(2)(c), A-E Selection Criteria, for more information.
