PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT

PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT

USACE, Seattle District (NWS) Conference Room Upgrades

Summary: Upgrade Seattle District Office conference rooms, as specified, to provide an appropriate solution for HDMI, simplify user connections, and minimize cable runs across conference room tabletops.

Requirements Description:

1. Requirement: Provide all labor, equipment and supplies to install table top interface boxes with retractors for network and video cables and minimize cable visibility on the table tops. Provide all labor, equipment and supplies to route cable below the table surface for the existing conference phones and conference microphones.

Provide and install the AV equipment necessary to replace the current video transmission method in the specified conference rooms.

***NOTE: Prospective contractors may offer products equivalent or better than those specifically referenced by a brand-name.

2. Location:

Corps of Engineers, Seattle District Building 1202 4735 E. Marginal Way South Seattle, WA 98134

3. Requirements: Seattle District larger conference rooms have HDMI cable runs that exceed 100 feet. This long cable run affects the signal from the PC to the projector, frequently causing the inability to display PC outlet on a projector. This has resulted in delayed meetings, labor to troubleshoot and implementation of temporary fixes.

In addition, cables are strung across the table in a disorderly fashion. The HDMI cable runs need to support the distance from the PC to projector without affecting the signal. Clean up of cable will enhance ease of use and will help to prevent cables being pulled or damaged during use.

4. Vendor shall provide all equipment, supplies and labor for the HDMI cable runs and cable cleanup in the following locations:

a) Clearwater River Conference Room (2341)

b) Preston Creek Conference Room (3341)

c) Cadet Creek Conference Room (3345)

d) Columbia River VTC Conference Room (2351)

5. Schedule: Completion within 30 calendar days of award. Room availability to be scheduled with the Seattle

District IT Operations Officer.
