Notes on Building elevations and on A-420 direct us to use Wagner Companies Ball Style railings to match existing. Detail 7/A-420 shows the ball style steel railing to be 2"dia pipe and appropriately larger ball fitting (not sized). Wagner Companies confirmed that they do not have a ball type system in a 2" pipe size. Please provide names of Manufacturers who are approved and able to match existing.

We acknowledge that Wagner does not have the 2" pipe size to match the original railings. Their 1 1/2" size is acceptable, as well as any other manufacturers that may be found to provide 2" or 1-1/2" pipe rails built in similar style to the original.

HESS Construction + Engineering Services, Inc. Elli Macahilig Metals

Details 2 and 4 on A-619 seem to show a steel angle at the bottom of the brick veneer and on top of the concrete slab. There is no arrow noting what this item is. Is this a steel angle and if yes, is it needed there?

See notes on detail 4 - the area is showing mortar stop and asphalt coated 6 oz. copper flashing, no steel angle is needed or called out. Detail 2 is missing these 2 call outs, but shows the same components (mortar stop and asphalt coated 6 oz. copper flashing) with no angle included.
