RFI QUESTION AND ANSWERS

RFI

Question #1 – Is this contract to pickup only? Is there only one pickup location? (Ives Run

Maintenance building)

Answer#1 No , the contract is for pick-up and lab testing. We only have one pickup location and it is at Ives Run Maintenance building

Question #2 – if this contact is for sampling services as well – can I have an exact listing of where each of the locations are so I can determine distance between them. If past information on time for collection is available, please supply (i.e. is collection routinely capable of being completed within a 2-hour period? Longer? Shorter?)

Answer#2- The contractor is not required to take samples. This is accomplished by Army

Corp personnel.

Question #3 – are there any field testing requirements, or are all of the testing needs to be done in the laboratory setting?

Answer#3- No field testing is required.

Question #4 – similar to the above questions - are the unit numbers listed the number of locations that are required to be picked up at? Or are the numbers to indicate sampling sites/locations? For example – in August, there are 198 listed – are there truly 198 different locations that a courier would need to pickup at or would all 198 samples be available at the Ives Run Maint. Bldg.

Answer#4 – That is the overall number of samples taken from 11 different sites.

Question #5 – I would like to request a copy of the past contract award notification and copies of the past winning bid price schedule. This information should be available to me under the OPRA

(Open Public Records Act) or FOIA (Freedom of Information Act). Please forward prior to the due date of this proposal.

Answer#5 – W912DR-10-P-0135 is the previous contract. Please refer to www.foia.gov and follow information on website to receive information on this contract.
