RFI’S FOR W912DR- 13-T-0137-RAYSTOWN LAKE SIGNS REQUIREMENT:

Q1. Where would these signs be shipping to?

A1. The Maintenance Building at 6145 Seven Points Rd, Hesston, PA 16647

Q2. Do you have a specific type of reflective sheeting to use? We us 3M products and could go with 3290 engineer grade or 3930 Hi-Intensity Prismatic.

A2. The Corps of Engineers Sign Manual requires diamond grade retro reflective sheeting.

Engineer grade is not acceptable. Appendix E recommends pressure sensitive 3M sheeting as follows:

White 3970 Lemon Yellow Fluorescent 3923 Red 3972 Blue 3975

Q3. As far as the colors go, do you have a specific pantone color or could these just be standard “highway sign” colors?

A3. Colors are defined in Appendix E of the Corps of Engineers Sign Manual. These signs are waterway signs and do not necessarily conform to MUTCD standards. Reference previous answer for suggested 3M colors.
