About this file

This document is a Question and Answer (#1) for Solicitation W912DQ26QA013 for Dobson Site Rock buy and delivery. The document contains five questions and answers regarding rock and aggregate delivery details. Key points include: delivery can begin same day as contract award, contact point of contact to coordinate timing; multiple rock/aggregate types cannot be delivered simultaneously due to volume limitations; products are for Missouri (not Kansas DOT) applications; and the primary material is Type 1 Rock, which has a specific gradation specification ranging from 3-3000 lbs with percentage passing detailed in the provided table. The 6-inch minus and 1-inch clean aggregates do not have specific gradation requirements. The solicitation appears to be for a military/government construction or infrastructure project involving rock and aggregate procurement.

Dobson Site Rock buy and delivery

Question and Answer #1

Question 1. At this time, do you know how soon after the contract is awarded that delivery may begin?

• Answer 1. Available same day as award or soon after. Contact POC to coordinate time/date of delivery.

Question 2. Can both the Type 1 rock and other aggregates be delivered on the same day or would all type 1 have to be delivered first then the remaining aggregates or vice versa?

• Answer 2. No. There would be too much rock for available delivery point.

See forthcoming amendment to the solicitation.

Question 3. Do the products used for access and county roads have to be KDOT approved, when referring to the 6" Minus and 1" Clean aggregate products?
