About this file
This document is a Question and Answer (Q&A) #1 for Solicitation W912DQ24Q1070 - Concrete Replacement at Long Branch Lake Project.
The Q&A addresses two questions related to the contract requirements. The first question asks if the contractor needs to consider the specifications for the doors and locations shown on the last page of the drawings. The answer indicates that the contractor should consider the flared side ADA ramp by the main entrance. The second question asks if the stone wall repair item needs to be priced separately. The answer states that the stone tuckpointing or repointing is part of the base bid under CLIN 0001 and does not need a separate price.
The related federal contract opportunity is for the Long Branch Lake Administration Building Concrete and Sidewalk Replacement project. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, has a requirement for sidewalk replacement construction, including demolition, removal, and replacement of concrete slabs and sidewalks around the administration building. The contractor shall also perform tuckpointing on the building walls. The period of performance is 180 days from the Notice to Proceed. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside opportunity with an estimated value between $25,000 and $100,000.
