BOUNDARY MAINTENANCE AT POMME DE TERRE LAKE

QUESTION AND ANSWERS #1

Q1: When was the last time the 20 and 13 mile boundaries were cleared/maintained?

A. While historical records may exist regarding past clearing/maintenance activities on the 20 and 13-mile boundaries, the variable nature of vegetation types and growth rates renders specific dates less relevant for accurate effort estimation. To ensure a comprehensive understanding of the current clearing/maintenance requirements, we strongly recommend that all interested contractors conduct a site visit. This firsthand assessment will allow you to evaluate the specific vegetation conditions and determine the resources necessary to fulfill the contractual obligations.

Q2: Can workers camp on site?

A. No camping allowed unless in designated areas (Parks), but campers must check availability of sites since the contract period of performance is during shoulder season and closed for camping periods. No off-site camping is allowed; Title 36 does not permit refer to EP 1165-2- 316 for further information.
