Q1 According to the contract, there are minimum guarantees 1x spillway, 2x dam, 3x parks, and admin 1x lagoons. Is there a possibility some of these items can overlap to be treated in the same time frame (with different herbicides) i.e. parks and admin in April, dam spillway in May, Lagoons parks and admin June, Dam Parks Admin August? These dates of course can be adjusted due to weather.

A1 Yes, The applications for the dam will be ordered at the same time, the parks and admin area will be ordered at the same time and lagoons can be ordered in conjunction with one of the park sprayings.

Q2. For clarification on the bidding sheets: Item 0001AA, AB, AC, AD, AE should the pricing be listed as the individual application pricing or what the total year anticipation should be? In other words is pricing based on per application or total amount because it states on 0001AC Quantity-5 and Unit-Each but then asks for a net amount.

A2 Bidding sheet pricing has a place to include the per spraying cost (each) and then you would take that each total times the quantity specified to get the net total pricing (example: each $10.00 and the quantity listed is 5 then you would place $10.00 under Unit Price and then $50.00 next to Net AMT.) The total of all the Item 0001s (0001AA, 0001AB, 0001AC, 0001AD, 0001AE ) could be placed on the first line 0001

Q3. A follow-up question to Question #2, item 0001AC should require a blanket application early on and then spot treatments or should all applications for this item be considered spot treatments (target only current vegetation at the time vs. pre-emergent)?

A3 This is up to the contractor stated in 5.2 as the Contractor is responsible for selecting the appropriate chemical to be used.

Q4. Item 0001 is listed at vegetation and herbicide management. Is this to be the anticipated total annual cost of the contract and if so should it consist of 3 or 5 applications in AC and AE?

A4 This question was answered in question 2’s remarks.

Q5. Just confirming if we were to be awarded the contract, the items listed on Technical Exhibit 2 would not be required until just before work begins vs. at the time of submitting pricing. These items include:

POI, QC Plan, Accident Prevention Plan and Applicators License.

A5 Requirements listed in Technical Exhibit 2 would be required to be provided at the Post-Award Meeting held prior to work beginning.
