SECTION SF 30 BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

SUMMARY OF CHANGES

2. Contractor question:

FACTOR 1: Experience

First paragraph under the section FACTOR 1: Experience on page 27 of the Solicitation states that –

‘Each offeror’s experience will be examined for the type of work performed in the construction range of $25,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 in Kuwait. The successful offeror(s) will possess demonstrated experience performing construction projects including new construction, and the alteration, renovation, conversion, and/or reconfiguration of existing facilities including vertical and horizontal construction.

However, in the last paragraph under the section FACTOR 1: Experience (on page 27 of the Solicitation) it states that –

‘The offeror shall submit no more than five (5) projects that have been completed, within the past five

(5) years immediately preceding the date of this solicitation or are currently being performed that is at least 75% of construction completed. At least one (1) project should have a dollar value greater than $25,000.00 but less than $1 million and one (1) project must have been performed in Kuwait, failure to provide a minimum of two (2) projects will be deemed unacceptable. If more than five (5) projects are submitted for this factor, only the first five (5) found in order in the proposal will be evaluated’

Does the highlighted statement imply that we can submit projects exceeding the $1 million range for submission under Experience or do all submissions under this Factor have to be within the range of $25,000-$1 million?

2. Government Answer:

The contractor shall submit at least two (2) projects, but not more than five (5) projects in the last five

(5) years. The government anticipates projects from $25,000.00 to not more than $1,000,000.00. You may submit projects with a higher dollar value if you not have projects in the anticipated dollar range.

3. Contractor question:

Page Limit: We understand page limit for Volume 1 – Technical is limited to twenty-five (25) pages per Factor including Subfactors.
