1. My company builds an equivalent ATTLA approved shoring system. The solicitation does not state that equivalents will be considered. Is this the case? If so, why?
Answer: Equivalents will be considered if proven technically acceptable by the customer.
2. The solicitation is calling for a 2-1 safety factor. What proof is needed to meet this requirement? Does this proof come from a statement from the ATTLA or would you like us to submit our taped testing video with the bid?
Answer: No immediate proof is required prior to award. The government holds the right to request for proof once an award determination has been made.
3. The solicitation is calling for a welder certified by the American Welding Society?
