About this file

This is an amendment (SF30) to solicitation W912CN25Q0013 that clarifies two matters regarding the memorial construction project for the 29th Brigade Engineer Battalion at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. The amendment specifies that the Big Rock pictured in the design concept will be provided by the US Government and does not need to be furnished by the contractor, and that the memorial slabs will be anchored by "pinning" them.

The underlying solicitation requires the contractor to construct a memorial display consisting of three black granite slabs arranged in a "W" shape with specific inscriptions and branch insignias. The memorial will be located in the north-east corner of D Quad (coordinates: 21.491689, -158.052159) and includes requirements for concrete pad installation, slab mounting, and decorative landscaping with gravel. The center slab will feature the unit crest and history, the left slab will display branch insignias, and the right slab will show campaign participation credits and fallen service members. The project must be completed by April 8, 2025, and quotes are due by February 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM Hawaii Standard Time.
