Text version

The customer would like 1 camera in the entrance/exit of the building and at least 1 in the hallways and stairwells. Thank you.

1. What are the types of ceilings in all of the buildings? (Acoustic Tiles or Hard Lid) The tiles are acoustic ceiling grid tiles and yes, there's enough room for a comms rack.

2. There is a total 3mp camera count in you bid documents. You requested 90 degree and 180 degree cameras. For example: For example you give a total of 12 cameras. Are these just for internal cameras? Or does the external cameras need to be added?

All the cameras should be the 90 or 180 degree cameras. I don’t see the need for any 360 degree cameras, since they are always mounted on top of the buildings or on the edges of the buildings outside.

3. Do we need to furnish monitors? If so what size? Will each system need its own monitor or will they be sharing?

Yes, 1 per Staff duty desk. 40” monitor

4. One 360 degree camera on all floors?

Yes

5. Page 5 is stating POE on each floor.

Yes, especially if CAT5/6 is available, since its more cost effective and efficient setup.

6. Will all NVRs be placed on the second floor for each buildings?

DVR: Digital Video Recorder NVR: Network Video Recorder Yes NVRs should be placed on the second floor since it can span larger distances (up to 2000’)

7. Will conduit (EMT) be required above the drop ceiling or will j-hooks suffice?

Use J-hooks above and follow network regulations to use a cable tray if the amount of cables exceed the J-hook amounts.

8. Is there a better detail layout for all camera placements?

Please clarify, a better structural layout of the bldg. or a better graphic depicting where the cameras will go?

9. Do we need to provide tamperproof racks for all buildings? If so wall or floor mount.

Yes, absolutely.

10. Will UPS be needed for each floor or just where NVRs are placed?

Yes absolutely

11. Are you open to have one NVR per building? Instead of having up to 8 NVRs in one building.

Yes as long as we can safely and efficiently store all the data collected.

NVR: stores on cloud (limited) DVR: on site storage (limited)
