SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 1449 - CONTINUATION SHEET

The following have been modified:

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Question Answer

1. The photos and inspections appear to have been done in 2014. Are there any more recent photos showing the current condition of the storm drain system?

No

2. Will the government allow the contractor to discharge/decant water only (no debris) from the cleaning operation into the existing storm drain settlement basins?

No. The intent is for the contractor to collect and remove any solids taken from the storm sewer (and any liquids introduced to remove those solids).

3. The photos appear to depict that excavation will be needed to clear the build‐up of soil around the areas around a number of headwalls. Since grass already appears to be growing on the soil around these areas, please confirm that excavation of these soils and grass is or is not part of the “cleaning” as described in paragraph 3.2 of the PWS.

Excavation of soil/grass around the headwalls is only required if it prevents access to allow for cleaning of the pipe(s).

4. Photos show damage to the concrete areas around the inlets, including a number of stuck lids. Will repairs to the concrete and grates be required as part of this contract?

No

5. PWS Section 1.3 describes the need for a CCTV inspection of the existing system. Shall we assume that per Bid Item 0002, the quantity of 36,229 linear feet is representative of the entire system of storm drains for all 6 sites?

36,229 is the linear feet of conduit that needs to be cleaned, not the total linear feet of the entire system.

6. Will the CCTV inspection be required; (A) prior to cleaning, (B) after cleaning is performed or (C) both?

Per PWS 3.4 CCTV inspection is required after cleaning for all features listed as needing to be cleaned.

7. Provided evidence of a formal Teaming Agreement and Letter of Intent, will the Govt accept the Past Performance of a Subcontractor's as the Prime's?

Yes, per SBA guidelines the prime contractor needs to perform at least 51% of the work.

8. For the CCTV inspection, are we able to submit DVDs or a hard drive instead of CDs?

Yes, you will need to fill out a Contractor Operations and Storage Area (COSA) request and it needs to be approved. Please see attached COSA form.

9. For the CCTV inspection, are we able to submit DVDs or a hard drive instead of CDs?

Yes

10. Is there a staging area for equipment? Yes, you will need to fill out a Contractor Operations and Storage Area (COSA) request and it needs to be approved. Please see attached COSA form.

11. Has sampling ever been done? No
