The following subparagraphs of FAR 52.212-5 are applicable:

(a)(1)-(6) (b)(1), (4), (30), (33), (34), (44), (58), (59), (60)

FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services (NOV 1999)

(b) Options. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly, mathematically, or materially unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). As part of price evaluation, the government will evaluate its option to extend services (see FAR Clause 52.217-8) by adding one-half of the offeror's final option period prices to the offeror's total price. Thus, the offeror's total price for the purpose of evaluation will include the base contract plus the option period. As indicated in FAR 52.217-8 the government will have the option provision to extend the performance of the contract up to an additional 30 days when the contractor is provided written notice 3 days before the end of the Period of Performance. Providing pricing for the optional 30-days extension period is not required.
