FAR 52.212-1 ADDENDUM
This addendum replaces provision FAR 52.212-1 in its entirety.
1. Quote is to be submitted in US Dollars only.
2. This procurement will be awarded to the lowest priced, responsible offeror, whose quote conforms to the terms and conditions of this solicitation. The Government intends to evaluate all quotes and award a single contract without discussions. Therefore, the initial offer should contain the Offeror’s best terms from a price standpoint. Do not assume you will be afforded the opportunity to clarify, discuss, or revise your quote. However, the Government reserves the right to make clarification or request revised quotes if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be in the best interest of the Government. The Government may reject any or all response if such action is in the public interest and/or waive informalities and minor irregularities in the submitted quotes. The Government reserves the right to cancel this Request for Quote (RFQ) and make no award. By responding to this RFQ and submitting a quote in response to the RFQ, the Contractor understands that the Government shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the Contractor in response to this RFQ.
3. QUOTE DELIVERY: All responses shall be in English, legible and prepared in the following general format to be properly evaluated. Responses must be complete, self-sufficient, and respond directly to the requirements of this RFQ.
a. Electronic Submission. The Offeror shall provide a copy of their quote as an electronic file. The quote shall be submitted via email to Mr. Julio Cabrera, Contracting Officer at Julio.Cabrera.civ@mail.mil and Ms. Anquanette Figueroa, Contract Specialist at anquanette.l.figueroa.civ@mail.mil, before 4:00 PM USA Central Time (CST) on 19 September 2018.
b. Solicitation Questions. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to Mr. Julio Cabrera, Contracting Officer at Julio.Cabrera.civ@mail.mil and Ms. Anquanette Figueroa, Contracting Specialist at anquanette.l.figueroa.civ@mail.mil. The Government will answer all questions provided that the questions are received by 1:00 p.m. (CST) on 10 September 2018. The Government reserves the right not to respond to any questions received concerning this solicitation after the question receipt date and time above. Accordingly, Offerors are encouraged to carefully review all solicitation requirements and submit questions to the Government early in the proposal cycle.
c. Amendments prior to date set for receipt of proposals. The Government reserves the right to revise or amend the specifications prior to and/or after the date set for receipt of proposals as necessary. Such revisions, if any, will be announced by an amendment or amendments to this RFQ. All information relating to this RFQ, including pertinent changes/amendments and information prior to the date set for receipt of quotes will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fbo.gov. Potential offerors are encouraged to subscribe for real-time e-mail notifications when information has been posted to the website for this solicitation. It is the responsibility of each potential offeror to monitor this website for any changes or amendments to solicitations prior to award.
4. QUALIFICATION OF OFFEROR. Offerors must be financially responsible to provide the items described in this solicitation.
5. QUOTE CONTENTS: Each Offeror’s quote shall be submitted as set forth below and all information shall be confined to the appropriate part to facilitate independent evaluation. Quotes, which do not include the requested minimum information, may be eliminated from further consideration at the Government’s discretion. All parts offered shall be brand new or overhauled, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified, and previously approved by the Government for the MD-500E aircraft.
