About this file
This is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation W912CH-25-R-0216, a firm fixed price supply contract issued by the U.S. Army (Detroit Arsenal, Michigan) on March 13, 2026, effective April 8, 2026. The amendment corrects administrative errors in Section F (Deliveries or Performance) and Section I (Contract Clauses). In Section F, FAR Clause 52.211-8 (Time of Delivery) has been removed due to the FAR overhaul and replaced with narrative language. The required delivery schedule specifies five contract line items (CLINs 0011-0015) for multi-application weapon components at 100 units per month, requiring delivery within 180 calendar days of contract award (or 210 days with Factory Acceptance Testing for CLIN 0011), with subsequent delivery orders requiring 180 calendar days from award. CLIN 0021 requires delivery of one unit within 180 calendar days. Offerors may propose alternative delivery schedules earlier than required.
In Section I, FAR Clause 52.216-19 (Order Limitations) has been updated to establish minimum and maximum order thresholds for the resulting contract. The minimum order is 50 units, while the maximum order is limited to 1,000 units for a single item, 1,000 units for a combination of items, or orders from the same office within 30 days not exceeding these limits. The contractor must honor orders exceeding maximums unless returned within 15 days with written notice of intent not to ship. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged and in full force and effect. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to offer submission.

The Government will evaluate equally, as regards time of delivery, offers that propose delivery of each quantity within the applicable delivery period specified above. Offers that propose delivery that will not clearly fall within the applicable required delivery period specified above, will be considered nonresponsive and rejected. The Government reserves the right to award under either the required delivery schedule or the proposed delivery schedule, when an offeror offers an earlier delivery schedule than required above. (b) Attention is directed at the Contract Award provision of the solicitation that provides that a written award or acceptance of offer mailed, or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror, results in a binding contract. The Government will mail or otherwise furnish to the offeror an award or notice of award not later than the day award is dated. Therefore, the offeror should compute the time available for performance beginning with the actual date of award, rather than the date the written notice of award is received from the
Contracting Officer through the ordinary mails. However, the Government will evaluate an offer that proposes delivery based on the
Contractor's date of receipt of the contract or notice of award by adding
(1) five calendar days for delivery of the award through ordinary mail, or
(2) one working day if the solicitation states that the contract or notice of award will be transmitted electronically. (The term
"working day" excludes weekends and U.S. Federal holidays.) If, as computed, the offered delivery date is later than the required delivery date, the offer will be considered nonresponsive and rejected.
