1. Request for Information

1. What type of mount will be needed for outdoor antenna? Wall surface or roof mount?
Please find the comparison between the two below:
Wall Surface Mount:
• When to use:
o If the building's exterior wall provides sufficient height and an unobstructed line of sight for the antenna to function properly.
o Suitable when there’s no roof access or when structural integrity doesn't allow for roof mounts.
• Advantages:
o Easier to install and access for maintenance.
o Generally more stable against high winds or weather conditions.
Roof Mount:
• When to use:
o If maximum elevation is required for optimal signal strength, particularly in areas with nearby obstructions like other buildings, trees, or hilly terrain.
Preference would be the antenna tower. It sits 21 ft from building.
Secondary preference would be wall mount.
9 September
16 September o Suitable when roof access is easy, and the antenna needs a higher vantage point for line of sight to cellular towers.
• Advantages:
o Provides better overall coverage and signal quality due to increased elevation.
o Less likely to be obstructed by walls or surrounding structures.
