In cases where the contractor and the COR disagree about the suitability of conditions for mowing operations, the COR will determine whether work shall progress or stop. Areas excluded by these conditions will also be excluded in the inspections.

2.4. The contractor shall notify the COR within 24 hours in the event areas are unable to be maintained per the contract specifications due to weather conditions

2.5. The contractor shall notify the COR immediately in the event areas of the dam embankment are found to be unusually wet and will prevent the maintenance of specified grass height.

This area shall extend from the edge of the roadway to a point 10 feet on the other side of the sign at its widest point. It shall extend 10 feet behind the sign and shall provide a clear view of the front of the sign from vehicles using the adjacent roadway. The COR will determine the length of the area to be mowed in front of these signs.

3.1.1.3. The oxidation ponds shall be mowed from the edge of the water to a point 10 feet outside of fences or 10 feet from the toe of dikes around the ponds, whichever is greater. The limits of this area are shown on the attached maps.

3.1.2. Chelsea Levee shall be maintained between a minimum height of 2 inches and a maximum height of 6 inches. The limits of these areas are shown on the attached maps. A minimum distance of no less than 50 feet from the toe of the levee will be maintained free of woody vegetation. No vegetation management will occur inside of the cemetery area.
