About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers file for a noxious weed spraying contract (Solicitation Number W9128F25Q0035) issued by the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Omaha. The Q&A addresses two key points: (1) confirmation that vegetation control on both upstream and downstream dam embankments is included in the contract scope, and (2) clarification that while subcontractors are permitted, the prime contractor must maintain the 100% small business set-aside requirement for the project. The contract involves chemical vegetation control on approximately 190 acres of Cold Brook and Cottonwood Corps of Engineers lands during the 2025-2027 growing seasons, requiring all necessary labor, equipment, chemicals, and transportation to keep designated areas vegetation-free.
