About this file
This document is an Amendment (0001) to Solicitation W9128F25Q0033 for an Acoustic/Optical Televiewer Purchase for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Omaha District. The amendment updates the equipment list for a one-time procurement of a televiewer system to be used for downhole characterization of faults and fractures in investigatory boreholes. The comprehensive equipment package includes an acquisition system with 18-pin connector, WellCAD software and associated licenses, a 500-meter winch, acoustic and optical televiewers, centralizers, a dummy weight, a rugged data acquisition notebook, and a basic rehead kit.
The televiewer system features sophisticated technical specifications, including a fixed transducer acoustic sensor with a 1.2 MHz frequency, 1/3" high-sensitivity CMOS digital image sensor, APS 544 3-axis magnetometer and accelerometer, and precise measurement capabilities. Specific technical details include an acoustic beam width of 1.5 mm, rotation speeds up to 35 revolutions/sec, multiple pixel resolution options, and orientation sensor accuracies of ±0.5° for inclination and ±1.2° for azimuth. The delivery location is specified as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at 9901 John J. Pershing Dr. in Omaha, NE 68112.
