The Kiwanis Park day use area, adjacent to the campground has one modern comfort station, two double vault toilets, a trailer dump station, playground equipment, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball court, campfire and barbeque grills, trash cans, picnic tables, drinking fountains, and four group picnic shelters. Fort Peck is a town of approximately 300 residents. Facilities in or near Fort Peck include a post office, church, summer theatre, hotel, restaurant, gas station, marina, and credit union. The nearest sizable town is Glasgow, Montana with a population of roughly 3,500. It is located approximately 20 miles northwest of Fort Peck.
