Will there be cattle movement and fencing to and from the pastures
On: Apr 29 2020.
Government Response. . We do not need fencing to move cattle from the dairy/milking parlor to the main pasture area (eastern side of the property), which will be associated with the heifer development subunit. In the heifer development subunit, we will need fencing to and from the pastures and the ability to move the animals to the pastures. In the pasture design (associated with the heifer development subunit only), infrastructure should be designed with flexibility in mind. Rotational grazing using temporary fencing within the pasture to delineate paddocks. A permanently installed perimeter fence and watering supply system will be required. On: May 19 2020

Is it known which portions of the facility are planned to remain and be rehabilitated and what components are planned for demolition? Or, is the evaluation of the existing facilities and determination of which portions can be feasibly rehabilitated part of this project?
https://www.projnet.org/projnet/binKornHome/index.cfm?strKornCob=BicPublicReportAll&strReportType=AllCont 3/5
On: Apr 29 2020.
Government Response. . Evaluation of the portions of the existing facilities and determination of which portions can be feasibly rehabilitated are not part of this project. In the design, one should assume that none of the existing facilities will be rehabilitated or used. On: May 19 2020

We have completed design outside of the 5 years but are continuing to provide commissioning and construction administration on the same project. Please confirm this may be used as a section F project.
On: Apr 30 2020.
Government Response. . The intent is to see recent, relevant, and completed work. An older project would meet two of these three things, but may not be considered as strong as a more recent project where the experience and code/requirements would be fresh and current. However, the commission and construction admin phase would understandably come last. Those construction phased services may be considered relevant and potentially more applicable for that project than the actual design services. On: May 18 2020
