Will the you the Government provide a staging yard for the performance of this contract and allow servicing and preventative maintenance to the equipment used for maintaining the project? No

Norfork – Maps

It appears in reviewing the Maps of the Norfork Lake, the bid schedule is not showing the Switch Yard area, it seems to have been omitted from the bid schedule for mowing and leaf removal. There is no mowing or leaf removal at the Norfork or Bull Shoals Switchyards, only herbicide. Norfork map is attached; Bull Shoals Switchyard Map was inadvertently left off and will be added in upcoming amendment.

Please provide clarification if is not an error or if the two areas in question are to receive the required services to have mowing and leaf removal service accomplished? See above

If services are to be accomplished, please provide instructions on how the contractor is to provide a costing of services for these two areas! See above

Also, in reviewing the Maps you have a map marked as Quarry River Mowing, that also in not on the bid schedule, it appears to be on Norfork Lake just below the switch yard. Both the Quarry River and Quarry Lake are one bid line item. Because of the large area, two maps were needed to accurately show all areas.

If services are to be accomplished, please provide instructions on how the contractor is to cost this area for Improved and Semi-improved services? See above

Part 1 – General Information

Section 1.4

This section describes Leaf Removal and Herbicide requirements, and to assure they are performed in accordance within the contract specifications within all laws and regulations, to follow the attached drawings and exhibits.

What is not clearly specified is you have on the Schedule A & B line/clins that request a costing for the described services. This attachment indicates services to be performed at 2 each, 250/350 each and 20,000/25,00 Sq Yd. This paragraph/section can be interrupted as you want them performed continuously, or when mowing is accomplished, or is as the Schedule A & B shows.

Please provide clarification as when you will contractor perform these services in question to be accomplished, also are they rendered by work/task order request issued by you the Government? A delivery order will be issued with line items. Typically, mowing line items will be set on a 14-day cycle; herbicide and leaf removal will be scheduled with the Government Representative or Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).

Part 5 – Specific Tasks

Section 5.8

This section is stating herbicide application may consist of campsites, living areas powerhouse switchyards, compounds and or other specified areas, which are identified on the bid schedules with events or quantities.

(Compounds) Please clarify that compounds areas are all gravel/rock surface areas and that No turf areas are treated with a herbicide application? Compound areas are not all gravel, there are mowed areas included. Herbicide will not be required on areas that are mowed.

(Switchyard) Please clarify that compounds areas are all gravel/rock surface areas and that No turf areas are treated with a herbicide application? No turf areas are to be treated with herbicide.

(Campsite Living Areas) Please clarify that compounds areas are all gravel/rock surface areas and that No turf areas are treated with a herbicide application? Campsite areas are all gravel and to be treated.

You are stating crack-grass is to be applied as linear footage not Sq Yd, please provide clarification on how costing is to be calculated for billing purposes? Typically, linear herbicide will be for a 1-foot wide path. This line will be agreed upon before commencement.

Please confirm how many total overall campsite there are between to two separate Lakes?

; Our Best estimate in counting when reviewing the maps you have provided is;

Norfork at 486 sites – our count is 473

Bull Shoals at 416 sites – approximately 423

Would it be possible for you to possibly provide a total of each Lake or campsite for each area listed in the solicitation? See totals per lake
