Responses to Questions
1Q: What was last year's awarded bid total amount for this contract?
1A: Contract history has been provided in FedBizOps on 8Feb16. If you require anything extra, you will have to submit a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request to our legal office.
2Q: Is this a follow-on requirement? If so, could you please provide the incumbent contract number for this opportunity? If not, is this a new requirement?
2A: This is not a new requirement; contract history has been provided in FedBizOps on 8Feb16.
3Q: In regards to the Modification you released earlier this evening, you provided three incumbent contractors. Are these services being consolidated? I understand that a FIOA is needed for additional information, but if these services are being consolidated, are there only three contracts being performed for this new effort?
3A: Services are not consolidated.
4Q: The Statement of Work indicates all mowing is to be completed within 14 calendar days with additional language that restricts mowing on weekends, federal holidays and days proceeding federal holidays. So, in a 14 calendar day cycle, the contractor only has 10 "allowable" days in which to complete mowing? And should a federal holiday similarly fall within this time frame, less "allowable" days? Accordingly, does the same apply to leaf removal in a 4 calendar day cycle?
4A: Wording is correct. Yes, the performance cycle basically amounts to 10 schedulable workdays. If a federal holiday, administrative decision, or major weather delay further restricts performance it shall not count against the 14 days. Yes, this pattern would apply to all tasks.
