About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to the solicitation for MSARNG Firebreak Preparation Services at Camp Shelby. The solicitation seeks a contractor to prepare firebreaks along the boundary lines of the property by clearing vegetation. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site for inspection and should contact Range Control to coordinate site access. Mulching is an acceptable method for clearing vegetation from the firebreak path. Pricing should be itemized by Contract Line Item Number, with a single payment to be made upon completion of the work within three months. The boundary lines have been recently marked to indicate the required firebreak location. Early completion of the work before the three-month deadline would be acceptable.
