About this file
This document is a Vendor Questions & Answers document for Solicitation W9127N25QA012, providing clarifications about bronze plates for the Bonneville Lock and Dam project. The Q&A addresses technical specifications including plate dimensions, with acceptable thicknesses ranging from 1.75" to 2.0" and lengths from 34" to 36". Key details include that the five bronze plates are intended to be water jetted locally for further machining, with a finished ring thickness of 1.75". The surface finish can be cast or milled since the plates will be finished machined locally. Most technical specifics about tolerances, scrap disposition, and waterjet process details were deferred with "N/A = Just need plates at this time" responses, indicating the current focus is on procuring the initial plate materials.
