Questions & Answers 2 – W9127N23Q0090 Roller Chains
Q1. What is DWG # B-101-0797 in reference to? I don’t see an attachment.
A1. DWG # B-101-0797 is the incorrect drawing number. The line item description and solicitation documents have been updated with the correct drawing numbers: DWG # JDF-84- 38-35 & 36
Q2. Can the solicitation be extended by one week? We’re waiting on a quote from the manufacturer.
A2. The solicitation has been extended to Friday, 22 September 2023, 2:00PM PDT.
Q3. The previous amendment listed “sets” as the unit of measure. Then, line item 0001 should read 4 sets and item 0002 should read 16 sets.
A3. The solicitation documents have been amended to reflect the correct unit of measure, i.e.
the unit of measure is changed from “set” to “each”. The quantity has not changed, only the unit of measure. The Government requires vendors to submit their quotes with the unit of measure of “each” as this will not affect the overall price.
Q4. Could you tell us what the spacing is between each attachment on the chain you need. The drawings are not specifying that detail.
A4. Entire chain length is 128 pitches at 42 feet 8 inches. Typical spacing is 8 inches.
